Jamie is a graduate student in the IMBS program at BCM with a BS in biological sciences from Korea University. During undergraduate years she worked on cancer immunology and how metabolic reprogramming affects macrophage activation as a research assistant at Seoul National University. Her current research projects involve exploring conditional mutations in complex diseases, identifying the role of germline variants in cancer, and applying machine learning algorithms to find mutations and genes associated with schizophrenia susceptibility.
